I dunno, it seems to have other issues. I tried making an account like
twice and it said it couldn't. I tried logging in anyway and it worked.
I tried editing my profile (which had nothing in it, but my account
existed) but it wouldn't let me save anything.

It's weird that the profile questions are different than the
registration ones, and you need better error messages.

Other than that it looks cool.

I am laughing my ass off. I am the unhappiest, do-nothingest,
underemployed curmudgeon on the planet. But thanks for liking my
story about "Lesbiman."

Subject: coffee

The nice thing about "quitting" coffee is that the rare time I actually do
drink a pot of coffee I can get a *lot* done. It's like spinach for
popeye. (But a drug, and something that makes me pee a lot.)

Subject: PRO

As I was nearing my 100th upload to Flickr, I was getting very very close
to buying a pro account, but since they sold out they are cutting their
prices! And also giving existing pro users extra time and gifts of pro
accounts. Dakota gave me one, and so I'm now in the process of using my
2gb/month bandwidth to upload every halfway decent picture I've taken
since I got a digital camera five years ago.

Normally I exercise caution and upload maybe one photo a month to post to
daily because it's sort of a pain to deal with, and also just because I
think only one in a thousand shots I take is actually worth sharing with
my audience. But Flickr is a little different, and I feel more comfortable
uploading... lots of random stuff.

I just noticed that the Hello Kitty game is by Namco.

I *really* hope they include Hello Kitty as a hidden character in the next
Soul Calibur. That would be the best.

Not to get all Startrekkey on everyone, but seriously did they need to do
a fricking TWO-PART episode on the stupid alternative universe in
Enterprise? It was actually starting to get good... and now this crap.

I mean, I know the old school original series trekkers seem to love the
alternative universe, but there was no bearded spock in this, so i don't
see what the appeal is.

And I think next gen ignored the stupid alternaverse entirely. And it was
retarded in ds9. Whether it was in that "other" trek series doesn't
matter, since we all know voyager doesn't count.

There's like NO EPISODES left and TWO FRICKING hours on the dumbass
alternaverse. And what's with the last episode taking place five years
later? I mean, I'm pissed they're cancelling the show two but that's
almost as bad a copout as a timetraveling Janeway bringing back future
weapons to defeat the borg. God I hate voyager.

Worst stupid sci-fi cliches that lead to horrible writing in tv, books,
and film:

1. time travel (unless you are like, Gene Wolfe, do not try to do time
travel seriously. if you *are* Gene Wolfe, holy crap that fifth "coda"
book Urth of the New Sun was AWESOME.)

2. clones. just... say no to clones.

3. alternative dimensions/unverises etc where AMAZINGLY all the important
characters have IDENTICAL looking doubles that are DIFFERENT and EVIL in
some way. (exception for some of the seasons of sliders that weren't
horrible.)

I really need to get back to work.
