Onto Pinboard

As part of my rationalization of web service usage I (finally) have a pinboard account.

Pinboard is incredibly fast, exactly as simple as it needs to be, and I believe its values and goals are aligned with those of its users — who are paying customers. This is increasingly rare to find in consumer web services.

I’m in a slow process of trying to remove myself from “bad” services (ad supported or generally run by corporate entities whose interests are contrary to mine) to “good” services I pay for by companies who I think have interests that align with their users, or to self-hosting, or to giving them up.
