If you are viewing an individual trenchant daily entry, pressing the left arrow should take you to an older entry.

Pressing the right arrow should take you to a newer one.

This is likely wrong on multiple levels from a correctness, compatibility, technical and standards perspective but I find it very satisfying.

(Also, ‘j’ and ‘k’ are defined as access keys in a more acceptable way, and are triggered in most browsers by holding control and the key. I find it less satisfying.)
