Now that I’ve finally finished Moby Dick I’ve come to two conclusions:

1. I was kind of mostly right to feel cheated by an educational system that never forced me to read it in high school, but not entirely

2. Watching Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is probably an acceptable substitue for most people
