After getting an “I’m getting married” phone-call from another college friend, I started to get a little nervous.
“OH MY GOD EVERYONE IS GETTING MARRIED I’M OLD.”
Then I decided it was ok, because Craig wasn’t getting married. When Craig is getting married, then I could be worried.
Later, when I called my mother and told her that I was freaked out that all my friends were getting married, her response was not to worry.
“It’s not like Craig’s getting married. If Craig was getting married you could be freaked out.”
I’m not sure why we both immediately had that reaction, but it makes sense somehow. I think.
And given that I have friends that are already divorced, I probably shouldn’t be freaked out at all. But I sort of am.
