One of the things that has changed in my journey from computer science student to information science student is that I don’t seem to have the same passion to struggle with technology.

Getting things that are clearly broken or badly designed to work doesn’t quite feel as satisfying.

Rather than feel satisfied with my own ingenuity, I wonder why all these things around me are still broken.

(I guess it is nice to know I still have it, though.)

I bet this is what designers (like Bryan) feel like when they walk into building with a dysfunctional interior, or pick up an awkwardly designed object.
