False Starts

Things haven’t started out too well this semester.

I made a few small cracks in my car’s windshield when I changed the passenger-side windshield wiper, which had become markedly less functional when the rubber wiper unattached itself during a drive. I should probably get that fixed, but the nearest Audi dealership is a million miles away.

My phone line stopped offering me a dial tone sometime this weekend, for reasons unknown to me. I’m tempted to just cancel it rather than dealing with the phone company, because I really hate the phone company, and who even needs a land line with a cellphone now, anyway?

And there’s the whole being alone thing.

Today is quite likely my last first day of class. I hope it goes all right.
