Unoriginal Undeveloped Thoughts

I’m starting to think Apple’s most important idea in iPhoto and iTunes was to make storage “transparent.” That is, it is basically unnecessary for users to directly deal with the file system to manage and use their media.

Because the more I use computers, and have to show others how to use computers, the more I think that the “file” system gets in people’s way more than it is any sort of useful organizing feature.

I think I have more to say on this but I am tired and lazy and when it comes down to it nothing I am going to say about this will be original or particularly insightful.
